Starting at 7pm, you’ll be running through the sunset, covering as many laps of the 4km route as you can in 12 hours. A fully signposted course, both with the official Outdoor City sign posts and our own arrows, you’ll be racing through the night and finishing just after the sun comes up on Sunday morning!

With professional live timing, you’ll know instantly where you are placed, and how far you’ve travelled. Do you have what it takes to go all night?

Friends of Ecclesall Woods

Ecclesall Woods are located in Sheffield’s south western corner, near the Peak District National Park border. The Woods are actually three separate woodlands physically divided by roads. Whirlowdale Road runs between Woods 1 and 2, and Wood 3 – the largest – lies to the west of Abbey Lane. Together they cover nearly 140 hectares (350 acres) of gently sloping land that is criss-crossed by 15km of public footpaths and bridleways.
