At home workouts
This is a worrying time for everyone, waiting to see what will happen as covid-19 continues to wreak havoc across the globe.
With exercise groups and classes being cancelled pretty much everywhere, and with so many people being confined to their homes unable to run, we have put together a series of short videos with exercises you can do at home. We hope that this will help spare your physical and mental health from deteriorating – I know recording these videos this morning has made me feel better!
We did consider making them a subscription service, but in a time when there is so much uncertainty for many people, this didn’t seem fair. We want people to able to exercise and do what they can to stay healthy whether you have an income right now or not. Before you start, please make sure of the following:
- that you have enough safe space to do the exercises
- that if you have any pre-existing injuries you skip out or adapt the movements that will cause pain or aggravate it
- if you have been unwell, with covid-19 or any other illness, make sure you are well enough to start exercising – doing too much too soon is likely to set you back on your recovery!
